Getting enough protein in can be difficult for some dialysis patients.  In honor of the upcoming Academy Awards, we put up this high protein dialysis bulletin board to add a little fun to protein. Our high protein board could be used any time of year.  The lights were supposed to be stage-lights or searchlights.  Clearly, some of my efforts are better than others.
Jazz it up even more! High protein dialysis lobby day.
Maybe try a protein lobby day with high-protein popcorn mixed with Vidafuel Power Pretzels or high-protein rice krispy treats.  I haven’t tried the popcorn recipe yet so I can’t vouch for it,.  Vidafuel’s pretzels are excellent as are the high protein rice krispy treats.  Or, get some protein samples and offer them up in small popcorn bags.  Many companies can provide samples for a lobby day.
I think if I were to do it again, I would make the “Titles” look more prominently like movie bulletins. They didn’t look quite like movie bulletins from a distance.
And lastly, this incredible re-creation was done by Maggie Melendez-Delarosa and Belinda Shanley MS, RD, CD-N in Branford CT.

Yes! I love the total flops part of the board! I want to put those packaged peanut butter crackers on my board as a flop too…added phos and hardly and protein.
This is an awesome bulletin board and thank you for sharing your ideas online! Where did you get your pictures of the food? I would love to recreate this bulletin board in my dialysis clinic.
Google images is always helpful for finding pics. I also use product pictures from Walmart.com frequently.
This board is great! Thank you for the wonderful template. I recreated the board at our dialysis center with a bright summer theme!
Thank you Kirsti! I’m glad this can be useful!
