A very happy Independence Day from KidneyGrub! I love this holiday which honors sacrifice and celebrates freedom, unity, and community. At KidneyGrub, we hope in the very least, that we are making the community of people living with kidney disease a more positive place to be. Our goal is and will always be to make the renal diet possible and look out-of-this-world delicious. Oh and here is a link to a homemade marshmallow recipe. I just used cane sugar not the honey and maple. I then added just a drop of red and blue food coloring and swirled. Marshmallows are low potassium, low sodium, and low phosphorus. That’s something to celebrate too!
