Advice for strong bones for patients with ESRD.

Meet the Bones Brothers!  Strong Bones and Brittle Bones are here to grace any unit with their lessons on how to keep bones strong.  Although I posted this board for Halloween, it could be used anytime of year with small seasonal modifications.  For example, if you wanted to use it January, you could put “Celebrate 2017 with the Bones Brothers!” and then give them both party hats or 2017 goofy glasses.  In February you could give them a red, white, pink stocking cap or beanie and title it “Which Bone Brother do you love?”  You get the idea.  The possibilities are endless.

The original file I made actually had several more suggestions than was shown.

    Strong Bones:

1- Strong Bones takes his phosphate binders.

2- Strong Bones looks for “P-H-O-S” on his labels

3- Strong Bones enjoys fresh snacks like apples, grapes, carrots, and peppers

4- Strong Bones gets full treatments

    Brittle Bones:

1- Brittle Bones drinks high phos beverages

2- Brittle Bones forgets  his phosphate binders

3- Brittle Bones drinks milk and eats pizza, pancakes, nuts, and cheese

4- Brittle Bones cuts his treatment short
